Import the design into your new project and, just like that, you transferred your Inkscape design to Cricut Design Space. Go find the SVG you just saved on your computer and upload it to Design Space. Open a new project and then go to “Upload”. There are a lot of different options and they each mean something slightly different but for pretty much anything you want to do with your Inkscape design (including selling the SVG) you can just save as “Inkscape SVG”. The save screen will pop up and you can name your file and then save as “Inkscape SVG”. Select the object(s) to export Open the document properties window (Ctrl+Shift+D) Select Resize page to drawing or selection File > Save As Copy. So once you have your Inkscape design ready and everything has been converted to a path you simply go up to “File” and then “Save As”. Using a vector graphic software like Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape has a full range of tools to create and modify your designs, and then upload them to Cricut. Now this does NOT mean everything you create is Design Space ready! Before you can successfully transfer a design to Cricut every aspect of your design MUST be a path. Because Inkscape is Vector software everything you create will be saved as an SVG.
